Based at Gosford's Mt Penang Gardens, NAISDA Dance College is Australia’s premier Indigenous training college with a proud tradition of producing the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performers - many NAISDA graduates play key roles at companies such as Bangarra Dance Theatre and Descendance.
This year NAISDA Dance College is celebrating its 40th anniversary! So it is quite an honour that they will be performing in Killcare at Bouddi Gallery.
Also on hand to help Bouddi Gallery launch its Contemporary Aboriginal Lifestyle Art online shop will be acclaimed Aboriginal Art Centre Manager, Cecilia Alfonso, who is flying down from Yuendumu especially to give a short talk on the special projects that Warlukurlangu is involved with. Cecilia is an engaging speaker and is looking forward to meeting Bouddi Gallery clients.
The celebrations will commence at 5pm on Saturday 1st October, in Killcare Courtyard outside Bouddi Gallery. Everyone is welcome but be prepared, it will be standing room only.
